Automatic Bill Payment

Do you dread bill pay? Wouldn’t it be nice if you never had to worry about late penalties, mailing delays, or writing a check for your electric bill?

Fleming-Mason Energy’s AutoPay Program takes away the hassle of paying your bill. Here’s how it works:

What is AutoPay?

With AutoPay you authorize Fleming-Mason Energy to withdraw your monthly payment from your checking or savings account, or credit card. Your payment to the cooperative is made automatically on your bill’s due date.

How do I sign up?

Complete all sections of the form, and mail it to: Fleming-Mason Energy, P O box 328, Flemingsburg, KY 41041, or fax to (606) 845-1008. Once we have your signature and approval, we’ll notify the bank or credit card company and put you on your way to automatic bill payment. The AutoPay plan will begin the month after you complete the paperwork.

How much does AutoPay cost?

There is no charge for the AutoPay plan. It saves you money on stamps, checks and envelopes.

How will I know what I owe?

Fleming-Mason Energy will still send a monthly bill. Customers who have chosen to have the automatic bill payment will see “Bank Draft-Do Not Pay” on their statements.

Without canceled checks, how can I prove I made payments?

Your bank statement or credit card statement will show your automatic payment, including date and exact amount.

What if there isn’t enough money in my checking account to pay amount due?

You will continue to receive your regular billing notice before the bill is due. This should give you plenty of time to make a deposit. If there are insufficient funds when the charge is made against the account, it will be treated the same as a returned check. Fleming-Mason may elect to withdraw the customer from the plan if the problem persists.
